Volunteer
Coffee Sundays
We are always looking for volunteers to host coffee on Coffee Sunday after Mass. Please consider signing up to host coffee. There is a sign-up sheet in the back of the church. Choose what day works best for you! You are only asked to set out dishes, put the coffee on, and clean up after. You are not responsible for bringing all the food! THANK YOU!

Guest Speaker Makani Marquis Coming to Creston October 2 & 3, 2026 Hosted By CWL:
Dear Parishioners: the CWL invites all adult parishioners to a very special event on October 2nd and October 3rd. Makani Marquis, from the Archdiocese of Vancouver, is coming to our parish to speak on AI (artificial intelligence) from the church’s perspective, on Friday evening, October 2nd, beginning at 6:30 p.m. There will be opportunity for questions and comments after his presentation, and light refreshments will also be available at that time.
On Saturday, October 3rd, we will have tea/coffee and muffins at 10:00 a.m. Then at 10:30 a.m. Makani will speak on a very powerful and engaging topic, dear to his heart——-Surrender, to the will of God. Once again there will be opportunity for questions and comments after his presentation.
Makani spent eight years living as a hermit in Idaho, the Sunshine Coast, and Hawaii.
Through prayer and experience, he learned to live in God’s Providence and receive what the Lord is offering.
Makani has worked for the Archdiocese of Vancouver for 31years. He was Senior Director of Communications for many years and is currently Senior Manager of Information Technology (IT).
Makani has been married for ten years to his wife, Lisa. They have two beautiful children, Rachel and Joseph.
We are very excited that Makani will be coming to Creston on this October 2-3 weekend to speak to us. We encourage all those who are able to come and join us.
There is no need to sign up or register.
There is no fee.
The event is open to all adult parishioners.
Thank you.
